Patna, July 9, 2013(TNN): In a bid to get better option at the centre, many IPS officers of the state have applied for the central deputation.Recently, two officers of 1995 batch, Raveendran Shankaran and his wife Malar Vizhi, went to Hyderababd to join Sardar Ballabhbhai Patel National Police Academy was followed by Bettiah range DIG M R Naik, who has left for Hyderabad to join Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
DG Training Krishna Chowdhary is most likely to be relieved by the state government in a day or two for his assignment in Delhi as director general (DG), National Disaster Response force (NDRF).
This apart, DIG Magadh range Nayyar Husnain Khan will soon be relieved for central deputation for posting as DIG Sashstra Seema Bal (SSB).
The name of two officers: IG (headquarters) Anupama Nilekar and ADG (Modernization) R K Mishra, also figure in the offer list of the state government which means the state government has intimated to the ministry of home affairs that it would have no objection if these officers are posted in central police organizations (CPOs).
Besides, several other IPS officers have also applied to the state government to clear their names for central deputations.
According to police headquarters sources, the officers who have applied for central deputation include ADG (wireless) K S Dwivedi, ADG (State Crime Record Bureau) Dinesh Singh Bisht, IG (economic offence unit) Pravin vashishta, DIG (CID) Kamal Kishore Singh, DIG (CID) Amit Lodha and SP (Gaya) Ganesh Kumar.
CBI DIG Ratn Sanjay, a 1998-batch Bihar cadre IPS officers, has got two-year extension in investigating agency, according to principal secretary (home) Amir Subhani.
Sanjay’s five-year term to the central deputation ended recently and he had to join his cadre back. He is at present posted at CBI Lucknow.
